Polish will have easier access to our job market

THE HAGUE – As of 17 September it will be easer for Polish and employees from other East European EU countries to have access to a large part of our jobs. Last, Friday, State Secretary Henk van Hoof (Social Services) announced that employees will be able to obtain a work permit to work for both the government, such as civil services and councils, and the police, in judicial positions, public utilities and several private sectors more easily.
The private sectors include: sawmills, planing mills and the wood working industry, the metal industry, bakeries, butchers, retail and trade, chain store businesses, catering, wholesale business, services industry, mortar companies and telecommunication. In the sectors it is not compulsory anymore for employers to recruit in the Netherlands before they employ a Pole.
